Rare bank note - Czechia, year issue - 1919. Czechoslovakia 500 K Banknote 1919 - Mucha Design- RARE. This is a RARE Currency Banknote from Czechoslovakia. This Czechoslovakian Bank Note was issued by the Republika Ceskoslovenska for 500 Korun in 1919. This Banknote was Designed and Signed by Alphonse Mucha, a Very Famous Czechoslovakian Art Nouveau Artist. The Note has a Beautiful Vignette of a Woman"s Head and Two Falcons on the obverse and a Wonderful Vignette of a Man , Woman and Child on the reverse. The Note is Signed on both sides. This Banknote may be the Meczarosz Counterfeit as described in the Pick Catalog as Number P- 12x. This was a contemporary counterfeit produced in 1919, causing the original issue to be limited and eventually withdraw, consequently Rare and seldom encountered. The Meczarosz Issue is what exists in collections today, and is itself Very Scarce and Highly Collectible. NOTE: IT IS POSSIBLE, HOWEVER, THAT THIS MAY BE THE VERY RARE ORIGINAL ISSUE.
