Rare Bank of Scotland 100 Pounds 1962 gEF. This is an extremely rare high grade example of the Bank of Scotland ?100 note, dated November 12, 1962. It is crisp and bright with only light signs of minor circulation. The front looks virtually new, although a close look at the back reveals a few fold lines. This note was found as part of a small hoard which included five other similar ?100 notes dated from 1959 to 1962. All have different dates from this note. The winner of this auction will have the first opportunity to purchase the other notes as well if they are interested.
